Planning is underway for the Third Annual These Boots Are Made for Mahjing, benefiting the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center Boot Walk.

This year’s event will take place on Friday, November 6 at 6:00 p.m. at Silver Street Studios at Sawyer Yards in Houston. Held in loving memory of my sister, Alessandra Land, who bravely battled Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC) until her passing in 2022, this special evening celebrates her legacy while raising critical funds for life-saving IBC research.

We are excited to welcome more than 300 guests for an unforgettable evening of Mahjong, delicious food and beverages, exciting raffle prizes and meaningful impact.

Last year, thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our sponsors and supporters, we raised more than $75,000. This year, we are setting our most ambitious goal yet: $125,000 to advance life-saving IBC research.
