Planning is underway for the third annual These Boots Are Made for Mahjing, benefiting The UT MD Anderson Cancer Center Boot Walk.

This year’s event will take place on Friday, November 6 at 6:00 p.m. at Silver Street Studios at Sawyer Yards in Houston. The evening is held in loving memory of my sister, Alessandra Land, who bravely battled Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC) until her passing in 2022.

We anticipate welcoming 300 guests, including dedicated supporters and community leaders, for an unforgettable evening in support of a meaningful cause.

Last year, thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our sponsors and supporters, we raised over $75,000. This year, we are setting our most ambitious goal yet: $125,000 in support of critical cancer research and patient programs.
