Mahjong 102 - Guided Play

Take your skills from theory to practice. After a quick review of the basics, enjoy instructor-led gameplay designed to strengthen your understanding of the rules, build confidence, and prepare you for independent play.

Mahjong 103 - Strategy and Defense

For players ready to level up, explore strategies, defensive play, and tips to sharpen your game. Take your skills to the next level. Prerequisite: You’ve been playing for a while and are able to play independently; this class is designed for students ready to focus on strategy and advanced gameplay.

Mahjong – Open Play
No instruction, just play! Enjoy independent gameplay, mingle with fellow enthusiasts, and meet amazing people in the Mahjong community.

We suggest starting with Mahjong 101 and Mahjong 102. The first lesson introduces the game and its rules, while the second focuses on guided play to strengthen your understanding and prepare you to play independently.

Lessons are 2.5 hours.

I provide all the necessary Mahjong equipment including mats, racks, tiles, and NMJL cards.

For private lessons, card tables and linens are available upon request. I ask that hosts provide the chairs.

For individual lessons and events, payment is due at the time of booking.

For private lessons and events, a $200 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking and full payment is due 7-days prior to the event.

Individual lessons may be rescheduled up to 48-hours in advance without incurring any penalty fees. Cancellations received within the 48-hour window will forfeit the full lesson fee.

For open play events, tickets are non-refundable. However, you may transfer them to a friend. Tickets are only valid for the purchased event and are not applicable to any other events.

For private group lessons and events, the $200 deposit is non-refundable. You may cancel 7 days in advance without incurring any additional penalty fees. Cancellations received after the 7-day window require full payment.
